Exchange of Goods
Did the size not fit and you want to exchange it for a different one? No problem! Contact us by email or phone, and we will exchange the size for you free of charge within Slovakia and the Czech Republic. We will send you a shipping label and arrange a courier who will deliver the correct size to you and take the packaged box back to us. Please note that the shoes must be only tried on and be undamaged, with the box and tags intact.
Return of Goods
If for any reason the goods do not suit you, you can return them within 14 days. Once the goods reach us and we inspect them, the purchase amount will be sent to your account within 14 days. Please send the goods unworn, undamaged, unsoiled, and in the original packaging (including all tags) to the following address: Antal shoes s.r.o., Zámočnícka 1406, 068 01 Medzilaborce. Do not write on the shoe box or stick labels directly on it – wrap it in a protective outer packaging (e.g. plastic foil) before shipping. The customer is responsible for the shipment of the returned goods to us.
If you return the entire order for which you had free shipping, or if the remaining value of the order falls below 100 EUR, we will deduct the cost of shipping from the refunded amount, since related expenses were incurred. (The shipping cost is based on the country from which you send the package.) Thank you in advance for your understanding!
Complaints (Warranty Claims)
If you want to make a complaint about a purchased product, please proceed as follows:
- Notify us about the complaint – Contact us by phone, email, or in writing using the contact information provided below. If you send an email, please include your address, the sales document number, the product type and model, and a description of the defect. Also provide an IBAN account number to which the purchase price will be sent if the complaint is approved.
- Send the product after confirmation – After we confirm your complaint request, send the claimed goods to the address Antal shoes s.r.o., Zámočnícka 1406, 068 01 Medzilaborce. In the package, include your name, surname, email and telephone contact, the reason for the complaint, your address, and proof of purchase (or a copy of the receipt) for the goods. The product must be properly cleaned and dry, and packed in a way that prevents damage during transport. Otherwise, we will not accept the complaint. The goods must not be sent by cash on delivery. The shipping costs for the claimed goods are borne by the customer.
Before sending, please consider whether the complaint is justified. The manufacturer’s liability for defects and the lifespan of footwear are two different concepts. The lifespan of shoes is determined by the way and intensity of use. If you do not care for the footwear, use it incorrectly, or if heavy use causes wear and tear in less than two years, you are not entitled to make a claim. Please note that barefoot shoes, due to their specific characteristics, are prone to mechanical damage.
When is a complaint unjustified / not accepted:
- Using the footwear for a purpose other than intended (e.g. using casual shoes for sports, indoor shoes for outdoor activities, etc.).
- Mechanical wear of materials (scrapes, scratches, worn-through material, etc.).
- The defect was not reported immediately when it first appeared, and the shoes continued to be used, which made the defect worse; now the claim is for the extensive damage (for example, a significant detachment of the sole, a large tear in the stitching, etc.).
- The defect was present on the product at the time of receipt, but the customer still used the product and decided to file a complaint later (e.g. crooked stitching, uneven heels, etc.).
- The product is worn out from normal use (normal wear and tear).
- A defect caused by improper care of the footwear (e.g. lack of regular impregnation, washing in a washing machine, unsuitable cleaning methods or cleaning agents affecting color stability, over-soaking, drying with a hairdryer, exposure to direct sunlight), improper storage (e.g. in a damp environment), improper use (e.g. using leather shoes as “rubber boots” in rain or streams), or any mechanical alteration by the buyer.
We will handle the complaint as quickly as possible, depending on the nature of the defect, usually within 30 days from receiving the goods.
